Catalina Foothills championship standout Matt Luján confirmed today that he has committed to swim for the University of Arizona.

“As for this season in general I will be swimming the 100 Back and 200 IM at high school state looking to defend my title in the 200 IM and get the title in the 100 Back,” Luján told AllSportsTucson.com this summer.

“After high school season is over, I will be competing at Winter Junior Nationals in Mid-December in Federal Way, Washington. My goals will be getting my national cut in either of the backstroke events.”
