Oregon strikes back. Arizona’s offense stagnant.

Oregon delved into its bag o’ tricks and used Mariota as a receiver as a rumbled his way to a 26-yard touchdown reception. It appeared as if Mariota may have possibly fumbled right before the goal-line but it was hard to get a clear enough view on any of the replays and the touchdown stood.

Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the next drive stalled at midfield and it appears the offense is struggling to gain any rhythm. Anu Solomon’s most important play, so far, may have been the pooch punt that went out at the Oregon 1-yard line.

The performance on the field continues to defy logic as it seems like it’s a back and forth defensive affair. I don’t expect this to last.
