Pool play got underway Thursday at the 21st Annual Dorado Softball Classic held at the Mike Jacobs Sports Park.

Pool play continues Friday morning and bracket play will follow. The classic featured at least seven coaching changes: Canyon del Oro (Kelly Fowler), Desert View (Anna Moraga), Flowing Wells (Abe Grijalva), Marana Mountain View (Ashley Monceaux), Palo Verde (Al Lopez), Sabino (Chelsea Slama) and Sahuarita (Chris Fanning).
