This morning, word broke that the former player and current Assistant Coach Damon Stoudamire was leaving the basketball program in favor of joining Josh Pastner’s Memphis Tigers squad.

Stoudamire’s two sons live in Atlanta, and that’s the primary reason for the move to Memphis. His relationship with Josh Pastner also key.

Stoudamire was a tremendous recruiter and was the only connection between the days of Lute and the days of Sean.
The team will now look to fill that gap and would not be surprised if Miller tried to tap another former player if he could.
