Tips for getting youth stories on

1. Include a roster. Roster should have first and last names, no initials with correct spellings. NEVER send a photo of a roster or a file that cannot be cut from otherwise roster will not be included in the story.

If possible, name the high schools the players will be attending if they are in the 8th grade.

2. Include a team photo with the name of the person who took it.

3. Include a link to the tournament you played in.

4. If you know of other Southern Arizona teams that played in the tournament try to include their team names in the email.

5. Do not send a message complaining your team did not get mentioned if you did not do numbers 1-4. Unlike the daily print media, I will put all youth teams in. If yours has not been mentioned it’s because your coach or others have not told me about it.

6. Share your story on Twitter and Facebook.
