Southern California (Granada Hills) and Alaska (Nunaka Valley) improved to 2-0 at the Little League Softball Juniors West Regional Friday night at the Arthur Pack Complex.

Granada Hills defeated Utah (Cedar National) 17-1 to set up their Bracket A final against Thornydale (1-0) late Saturday night. Cedar National (0-1) will play Oregon (1-1) in a must-win game in one of the early elimination games scheduled for Saturday.

Nunaka Valley defeated Hawaii (Gold Coast) 10-0 and the team from Alaska will face Sunnyside (1-0) on Saturday night in the Bracket B final.

Gold Coast (0-1) moves to the Elimination Bracket where they will face Northern California (1-1) in the other elimination game scheduled for Saturday.
