Former Catalina Foothills standout and University of Arizona swimmer Matt Luján made the Olympic Trials cut in the 200m Backstroke at the USA Swimming Speedo Junior Nationals on Saturday with a time of 2:03.4.

Lujan’s Wildcat teammates Parks Jones (Avon, Indiana) qualified in the 200 Free and Matt Salerno (Aurora, Illinois) in the 100 Breast.
